FLU & COVID VACCINATION PROGRAMME

You may have already heard, via the various news channels, that the flu and covid vaccines will be administered at the same time this autumn. This will be two separate vaccines and, of course, you do not have to have both vaccines, that choice is yours and you can let us know when you arrive here.
As there is some uncertainty regarding the delivery dates of the covid vaccine we have decided to wait until the start of October, just to be certain we have both vaccines available, and we will be vaccinating in the following way : -

Saturday 8th October - Those aged 78 & over

Saturday 15th October – Those aged 72 – 77 (plus anyone who is immunosuppressed)

Saturday 22nd October – Those aged 65 – 71

On each of these days we will be open from 9.00am to 3.00pm with 6 nurses vaccinating, so there is no need to all arrive at 9.00am. Try to spread your visit out across the 6 hours.

If members of the same household overlap in the age groups you are welcome to come along together to the earliest session.

Please note: -
1/ We are not permitted to vaccinate those between the ages of 50 & 64 until we have completed the older age groups, so we will announce dates for that cohort as soon as possible.

2/ HOUSEBOUND PATIENTS WILL BE VACCINATED OVER TWO WEEKS FROM THE 3RD OCTOBER
